Daniel Ciurleo is a classical guitarist who grew up in Brunswick. He attended the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and has
taken part in master classes with Paco Peña, John Williams and Piero Bonaguri. He has performed with Victorian State Opera
( Now Opera Australia ), in their production of "Don Quixote" as principal guitarist and over the years has performed many
solo recitals and has played with other renowned classical musicians. Internationally, through the Australian Embassy in Rome,
Italy, Daniel played a series of concerts for the Associazione Musicale Giuseppe Tartini in the church of San Paolo Entro Le
Mura in Rome. He now resides in Adelaide and will be performing the famous and widely popular 'Concierto De Aranjuez'
with the City of Unley Symphony Orchestra in August, 2010. This Melbourne performance of 'Latin Landscapes' follows
recitals in the Adelaide Fringe Arts Festival 2010 .

Dear Guitar Aficionado,
I have recently been fortunate to hear a lot of Daniel's powerful playing and can thoroughly recommend this concert as an enjoyable journey of Latin music that showcases the range and power of the guitar to convey meaning and reminds us why Albeniz and Barrios still have the power to fill auditoriums.

Regards,
Pierre Herrero
